Privacy notice

The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no ad tracking, and stores nothing about you unless you send us a message. Here is the longer version.

Scope

What this notice covers

This notice applies to yotta-byte-labs.com, the Yotta Byte Labs company site. Our product, Journal Genie, runs on its own domain and has its own privacy policy — see journal-genie.com for anything specific to the product.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send

We collect personal information in exactly one place: when you fill in the contact form or the subscribe field. Depending on what you are writing about, that may include:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your message.
  • Optional details you add — company or organization, and for speaking enquiries the event, date, audience size, and format.

We use this only to read and reply to you, and — if you ask to subscribe — to email you new writing. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent it. Messages arrive in our email inbox; the site itself has no database and stores nothing.

Analytics

Cookieless and aggregate

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build a profile of you. The data is aggregate and cannot be used to identify you. Because nothing is stored on your device and no personal data is processed for tracking, the site does not need a cookie-consent banner.

Third parties

The services that make this work

A small number of third-party services help run the site. Each has its own privacy policy, and we share only what is needed for the service to do its job:

  • Cloudflare — hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages), provides the cookieless analytics, and runs the spam check (Turnstile) on the contact form.
  • Resend — delivers your contact-form message to our inbox as email.
  • Cal.com — powers the optional booking calendar. It loads only if you choose to open it, and it is governed by Cal.com's own privacy policy.
What we never do

No accounts, no ads, no sale

  • No accounts or logins — there is nothing here to sign into.
  • No advertising, ad networks, or retargeting.
  • No cookies set by us, and no cross-site tracking.
  • No selling, renting, or sharing your data with anyone for marketing.
Your choices

Questions, access, and deletion

You can ask us what information we hold from a message you sent, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To unsubscribe, reply to any email from us or ask. For any of this — or any privacy question — email us and we will take care of it.
